Lift Kit Installation in South Dakota

Lift Kits & Suspension at 1776 Kustom Truck Fab

A lift is more than a strut spacer. Done right, it changes geometry, drive shaft angles, brake lines, steering, and tire clearance - done wrong, it eats ball joints in 8,000 miles and rides like a brick. We install lifts from 2" levels up to 12" long-arm setups, every one re-aligned, re-geometried, and road-tested before you take the keys. We carry every major brand, and we'll tell you honestly which kits ride well and which ones don't.

What's included

  • /2" – 12" lift kit installation (BDS, Cognito, ICON, Fox, Carli, King)
  • /Leveling kits and rear blocks
  • /Long-arm conversions and traction bars
  • /Shock upgrades, coilover swaps, hydraulic bump stops
  • /Brake line extensions, drive shaft re-clocking, steering correction
  • /Post-install alignment on our truck-capable rack

The 1776 process

  1. STEP 01

    Pick the right kit

We ask what you tow, where you drive, what tire you want. Then we recommend, not upsell.

  2. STEP 02

    Source & schedule

Parts ordered, install slot booked. You get a firm date.

  3. STEP 03

    Install & correct

Lift in, brake lines extended, steering corrected, drive shafts re-clocked.

  4. STEP 04

    Align & road-test

Alignment dialed, driven on real roads, handed back with paperwork.

What it costs

Price range
$1,800 – $11,000

Common questions

Depends on lift height, backspacing, and fender trimming. We tell you a real answer for your specific truck - not a generic chart.

Cheap kits will. Quality coilovers (Fox, King, Carli, ICON) ride better than stock on most trucks. We won't install junk.

Always. A lift without alignment is a tire-eating mistake. Alignment is included in every lift install.

South Dakota doesn't have inspection. If you cross state lines into MN or IA, we'll tell you what's street-legal there.

Level: a few hours. 4"–6" lift: 1–2 days. Long-arm conversion: 3–5 days.
